The Woods is a housing community in Jacksonville, Florida. Located just a mere 15 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, the homeowners association opted for Grounds For Play’s recycled playgrounds. Our recycled, eco-friendly playgrounds are made from plastic lumber that stands up to coastal environments. Unlike steel playgrounds, our recycled posts and decks are resistant to marine borers and salt spray to fight against rust usually found within years from coastal environments.
The homeowners association created a large play area with two playgrounds, tire swings, shaded traditional swings, spring riders, a climber, and a playground spinner. What’s more, they opted for our shaded bench and placed many throughout the playground for parents and supervisors. The beautiful, natural look of our recycled playgrounds is complemented by a color scheme of green, tan, and brown, blending this large play area into the neighborhood’s lush foliage.
