Maple Leaf Childcare Center has been providing a strong foundation for children aged six weeks to twelve years since 1988. The family-owned and operated center is owned by Linda and John Moran and began as a licensed home-based facility in Guilderland, New York. Due to its success, it expanded to the Carman Road child care facility in Guilderland, licensed for forty-one children. The center has expanded to seven locations and a total license capacity of eight hundred and thirty-two children.
At one of its seven centers, Maple Leaf Childcare Center partnered with Grounds For Play to create playgrounds suitable for all age ranges. Grounds For Play installed four recycled playgrounds, designed for children aged between 6-23 months and up to 12 years old. Each playground has age-appropriate challenges that promote children's physical and social development, imagination, and confidence. To ensure a safe play environment, each playground is safely sectioned off from one another, minimizing the risk of accidents and allowing teachers to monitor the children without worry.
