Andalucia is a luxurious waterfront community situated directly on the shores of Tampa Bay in Apollo Beach. The neighborhood is gated for privacy and security, making it a dream come true for boaters and those who love the beautiful waterfront lifestyle that Florida has to offer. It is one of the few gated communities in the Tampa Bay area that has its own marina and yacht club. A boat slip comes with membership in the yacht club. However, Andalucia realized that they were missing an essential addition to their community.
Andalucia Community reached out to Grounds For Play to create a natural-looking, recycled playground that incorporates shade into the design. The shaded design is meant to protect children from the Florida sun, providing a more enjoyable play experience. Children can explore the playground, which has a variety of bridges/connectors, climbers, and slides. A two-bay swing set, accompanied by bench seating, allows for various entertainment options while parents can relax on the sidelines and watch over their children as they play.
