Bearcat Park is located in Aledo, Texas. It features a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a soccer field, and green space. The pavilion is open for public use and is on a "first come, first served" basis. Grounds For Play was called upon to install two recycled playgrounds with integrated shading and roofing throughout the play structures.
Both playground structures follow the same color scheme of dark wooden-like material with orange, blue, and green accents, play components, and shading/roofing. Each playground has several climbers, slides, overhead ladders, and activity panels installed to serve as age-appropriate challenges for different age ranges. In addition, several stand-alone physical play structures were installed, including a 2-Seat Retro Rocker, a Camel Back Kids Climber, a Spin About, and two multi-bay swing sets. Bearcat Park prioritized sustainability when choosing the playground structures while also providing children with a fun and safe environment to play, learn, and socialize. The park encourages children to get outside and be active as they grow up.
