Preschool – 4 to 5 Years Overview

Preschool – 4 to 5 Years

Preschool – 4 to 5 Years

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) states that, "Older children (i.e. 4- and 5-year-olds) are beginning to use flexible climbers, arch climbers, and upper body devices." (Section 5.3.2, Climbing and Upper Body Equipment, Public Playground Safety Handbook). Therefore, Grounds For Play has designed the following structures for 4 to 5-year old children only in accordance with CPSC guidelines for the use of overhead elements on preschool structures. Overhead elements are necessary to help older preschoolers develop upper body strength and cardiovascular fitness. Low decks as entry points provide the right level of challenge for building confidence and strength.  Maximum height on overhead elements will be 60''.  View Products>
